CQUniversity Physiotherapy student Sherry-Kaye Savage is currently in New York as one of six Australian delegates attending the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues, as part of the Global Voices Initiative.

Meanwhile, environmental economics PhD researcher Megan Star has been selected to attend the Global Voices Nairobi Study Tour on Sustainable Development from June 22 to July 1 in Kenya.

Conservatorium Staff Present 'A Class Act' 

Staff of the Central Queensland Conservatorium of Music will present 'A Class Act' to kick off a concert series featuring national and international artists.

The first concert will be from 8pm on Saturday, March 16, at the CQCM Theatre.

CQCM lecturer Judith Brown said the focus would be on high-class, sophisticated vocal and instrumental music from the genres of classical, jazz and music theatre.

"The first concert will showcase a range of musical styles, but it will all be high in quality," she said.
