Aviation students engage with rescue helicopter teamAround 30 students from CQUniversity's Aviation program recently engaged with the AGL Action Rescue Helicopter team in Bundaberg. CQUniversity's Professor Pierre Viljoen has presented at the Global Universities Network for Innovation's (GUNi) 6th International Conference on Higher Education in Barcelona, Spain, this week (May 13-15).

Aussie property buyers have been warned not to play fast and loose with the ‘subject to finance' clause in contracts, following a recent court decision.
Associate Professor Kristy Richardson from CQUniversity's Property programs says the ‘subject to finance' clause is not a clause of the contract that can be taken lightly or used as a ‘get out of jail free card'.

Growing up in the small town of Moranbah, Matthew McKenzie had a natural affinity with mining communities even before he began a Bachelor of Engineering (Co-Op) and Diploma of Professional Practice (Engineering).
"In particular, the co-op program stood out from the other courses due to its practical coursework and the chance to complete a work placement with world-renowned companies," Matthew said.
