EDSE11006 Middle Phase Pedagogy

Course details

Effective pedagogy is central to achieving learning outcomes in students. This course applies evidence based pedagogical practices in the Middle Phase of Learning. Student learning managers design and deliver learning experiences that achieve outcomes within secondary school contexts.

Student learning managers will develop skills that enable them to design learning experiences that have Middle Phase learners extend, refine and use knowledge meaningfully. This course focuses on complex reasoning processes and creating a meaningful context for learning.

Critical use is made of relevant sources of information including current policy and Queensland Studies Authority syllabus documents to assist in the design of quality learning experiences.
