They are also supported in preparation for entry to the linguistic and cultural diversity of the target language community. Students will be presented with a range of communication settings and will encounter a variety of genre, language events and resources. Opportunity will be provided for students to negotiate meaning through communication and interaction. The aim is to facilitate the development of the skills required to engage in spontaneous communication.
